Doctor visit

As suspected, my white cell count was low (.4) - normal range starts at 3.3. But what was more important to him was my hemoglobin count which was way low. So basically all my blood is messed up and I am in seclusion again until my next chemo which is Tuesday the 12th. So this is my low point, all uphill from here. The chemo I was getting is usually given every 3 weeks but Dr. Ali wanted to be sure not to give the cancer cells any chance to grow back, that's why I got it every 2 weeks and that's why is was so hard.

I feel good right now, I was very tired and cold but was able to eat an egg, half a peanut butter sandwich, a smoothie, and a bowl of chicken soup (cures everything!) today, most I've eaten in a week. Throat swelling is almost gone and I think tomorrow I'll be able to eat more.

Besides looking like Friar Tuck with my hair loss, I'm now losing my eyelashes. I DO NOT LIKE THIS...I refuse to look in a mirror anymore. I WILL NOT be going anywhere til I have at least eyelashes. I know it's vain, but that's how it is.

I probably won't post again (unless something bad happens) until next Tuesday. So thanks again for all your thoughts, comments, prayers and positive thoughts. It's helped, believe it or not!
