Anyway, had several good days, Saturday, Sunday and today. No cramps, no mouth issues, etc. In fact, went up to bowling Saturday for an hour AND had a drink!
And went to Eme's school today because it was Big Person today and I was the Big Person...spent an hour there and yes, I washed my hands repeatedly.
So I think the two days right after chemo and the 3 days right before chemo will be my good time. I need to take the nausea pills starting Friday after chemo and I need to gargle with salt water. I need to be proactive. Chemo tomorrow...
Mary Jo, Have they given you a prescription for the mouthwash to prevent the mouth sores? I know that there is one. My sister used a solution that we made at home with baking soda and salt. Don't remember the exact measurements of the ingredients, but can find it if you wish. It really helped my sister.
