Day after chemo

Two things I learned: 1) anticipation of something bad is much worse than the actual thing. Now that I've been through it, I feel much more relaxed about the treatment. (Of course, hair won't fall out til second treatment and the nausea medication is still in effect so I might feel different later,)  And 2) I was in a room with 9 chairs and people coming and going...there are people much worse off than me who have to do this longer, who are older and have trouble understanding, who are sick, who are in pain...I've got to keep my complaining to a minimum.

Got my hair cut really short before chemo cause I thought it would be a lot less traumatic when it falls out. Here is a pic during chemo and after chemo, might give you a hint why I don't plan to go out much.

Forgot to say I have a neulasta patch attached to me that will start to beep at 6:15 and I have to sit still for an hour while it releases medicine that will boost white blood cell production. Well, I can certainly sit still for an hour!
Anyway, so far so good. I'll update as needed and you all can read about me when you want.
